Calendula (Calendula)
Calendula
Once a month in Summer, orange coloured flowers appear. Calendula’s flowers are big and grouped in flower-head, with fleshy pronged trunk and sessile sparkling green leaves with irregular edges.
Its etimology derivers from “Calendae romanae” which indicated a monthly reccurring event and someone says that is due to the regular blooming of this plant.
